Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Jonah Brock stepped things up a notch to give Southwestern the 'W'. Brock went 2-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Southwestern is undefeated when Brock posts three or more RBI, but 7-11 otherwise.

Brock's strong effort led Southwestern over McCreary Central and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are a perfect 10-0 against the Raiders going back to April of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
