Meanwhile, Belmont narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Potosi 3-2.
Belmont wouldn't go down easily and took Potosi into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-18, 25-16, 14-25, 15-9.
Highland's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Belmont, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
