The Keystone Wildcats will take on the Brunswick Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Keystone sitting on 12 straight victories and Brunswick on four.
On Wednesday, Keystone was able to grind out a solid win over Columbia, taking the game 6-3.
Brooklyn Modock spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jordan Owca was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases and three runs. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Armitage, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brunswick). They never let Cleveland Heights get on the board and left with a 26-0 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Blue Devils have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Kaelyn Stolarski, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with six RBI, two runs, and one double. Ellie Williams also deserves some recognition as she hit her first doubles of the season.
Brunswick kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Keystone's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Brunswick, their record is now 11-3.
Keystone's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's match. The Wildcats have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Brunswick, though, as they've been averaging only 0.6 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Keystone continue to outrun the ball?
