The Cannelton Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 11th straight defeat. They were outmatched by Tell City on the road and fell 68-35. Cannelton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-18.
Despite the loss, Cannelton still got an impressive performance from Trevor Hale, who scored 11 points.
Cannelton dropped their record down to 1-14 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Tell City, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-17.
Cannelton will head out on the road to square off against the Lions at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tell City, they will be playing at home against the Chargers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
