The Oak Grove Grizzlies stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They really took it to Montgomery Central for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-26 victory on the road. The win was familiar territory for Oak Grove who now have nine in a row.
Oak Grove was led to victory by Trista Charles and Cora Hadley. Charles scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Hadley scored 21 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hadley has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Victoria Lockamy, who scored five points along with ten assists and three steals.
Oak Grove pushed their record up to 19-2 with that win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Montgomery Central, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-3.
Oak Grove will take on Central Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Oak Grove has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 532 points over their last eight matchups. As for Montgomery Central, they will head out on the road to take on Asheboro at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Montgomery Central is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Asheboro in North Carolina (Montgomery Central is ranked 172nd, while Asheboro is ranked 423rd).
