At the plate, Cathedral Catholic let Ellie Davis and Riley Marlin run wild. Davis went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Marlin went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI Davis has posted since back in April of 2024. Kathleen Clark also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Cathedral Catholic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Patrick Henry only posted a batting average of .231.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Cathedral Catholic hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.8 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Cathedral Catholic was able to grind out a solid win over Christian in their previous meeting on Tuesday, winning 5-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
