Riverton was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They lost  3-0 to the Bingham Miners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Miners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-1  back in September.
 While Riverton ultimately came up short, they really made  Bingham work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-22,  25-15.
 Taylor Freeland paced Riverton's offense, picking up 20 kills. Freeland got some help from  Annie Runolfson and her 14 assists.
 Bingham can attribute much of their success to  Ava Morley, who  had eight  digs and two  aces.
Riverton's loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Bingham, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-6.
 Riverton has already played their next contest,  a  3-0  win against Cedar Valley on the 14th. As for Bingham, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-0  defeat against Mountain Ridge on the 14th.
