Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Michigan Christian Academy). They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Alanson Vikings on Friday. The Comets not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 6, 2024 (when they won 15-0).

North Michigan Christian Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Alanson, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, North Michigan Christian Academy will venture away from home to square off against St. Mary Cathedral at 10:00 a.m. on the 10th. As for Alanson, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Ignace at 4:00 p.m. on the 12th.
