The Crivitz Wolverines will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Randolph Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on October 20th.
Last Thursday, Crivitz was the victim of a rough 36-14 loss at the hands of Oconto Falls. While losing is never fun, Crivitz can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 249th, while Oconto Falls is ranked 95th).
Meanwhile, Randolph had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They secured a 30-24 W over Lourdes.
Randolph's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Karter Meredith led the charge by rushing for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Meredith is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Ben Paul also helped out as he racked up 131 rushing yards.
Randolph's victory bumped their season record to 7-2 while Crivitz's defeat dropped theirs to 6-4.
