The Venture Academy Mustangs can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Millennium 104-24 at home. Winning may never get old, but Venture Academy sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Mario Williams was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of DaeLeon Neal, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Millennium struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Venture Academy racked up 22 assists.
Venture Academy pushed their record up to 16-2 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 96.3 points per game. As for Millennium, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.
Venture Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Turlock Christian at 7:00 p.m. Allowing an average of 58.3 points per game, Turlock Christian has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this game. As for Millennium, they will head out on the road to take on Stone Ridge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Averaging 69.4 so far this season, Stone Ridge Christian's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Millennium better be ready for a challenge.
