Gouverneur lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Raine Rumble, who scored 16 points. The contest was Rumble's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Brodie Burns was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Canton and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for Gouverneur, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Canton will be home for the holidays to greet Potsdam at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Potsdam has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Gouverneur, they will head out on the road to face off against Norwood-Norfolk at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
