While losing is never fun, Baldwin Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1368th, while Verbum Dei Jesuit is ranked 572nd).
Chaffey's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Baldwin Park, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-16.
