On Saturday Lewiston take on Cheverus at 12:30 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Lewiston took a serious blow against Thornton Academy last Friday, falling 7-47.
Meanwhile, after soaring high against Massabesic two weeks ago, Icarus fell to the ground. Cheverus found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-37 punch to the gut against Portland.
Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous matchup, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
