The Las Cruces Bulldawgs will face off against the Organ Mountain Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Las Cruces has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Las Cruces will head into Thursday's match on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Gadsden on Thursday. Las Cruces claimed a resounding 53-16 win over Gadsden. The Bulldawgs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 24 points or more this season.

Las Cruces' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sofia Herrera led the charge by putting up eight points and seven steals. Herrera has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bethzy Quinones, who went 9 of 21 en route to 18 points.
Las Cruces smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Organ Mountain earned a 46-39 victory over Alamogordo on Thursday.
Organ Mountain's win came from a few key players Las Cruces will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Aliyah Martinez, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 17 points. Mia Bellamy was another key player, posting eight points.
Organ Mountain's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11. As for Las Cruces, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Las Cruces has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 22.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Organ Mountain struggles in that department as they've been averaging 25.7 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
