Baseball Recap: First Flight Comes Up Short

First Flight might've scored the first runs on Friday, but it was Manteo who claimed the real prize. The Nighthawks came up short against the Redskins, falling 17-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

First Flight has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Manteo, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
