It was a good run, but the Environmental Charter White Tigers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were beaten by Price 87-50. Environmental Charter was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-31.
Environmental Charter's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nick Motta, who scored 30 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Motta has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Yari Delgado, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Environmental Charter's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Price, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.
Environmental Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against the Aztec Eagles at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Animo Leadership is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Price, they will head out on the road to take on the Firehawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in California (Shalhevet is ranked 292nd, while the Knights are ranked 286th).
