The Flathead Braves/Bravettes''s six-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 48-12 win over Hellgate on the road. The win was just what Flathead needed coming off of a 28-7 defeat in their prior game.
Brett Pesola went supernova for Flathead, rushing for 118 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 126 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Jaden Williams, who gained 79 total yards and a touchdown.
When it comes to explaining why Hellgate lost, one person who can't be blamed is Corbin Weltzien. Despite the final result, he rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown.
Flathead's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Hellgate, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
