Notre Dame Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Olivia Frankel, who scored 14 points along with five steals. Brooke Nowak was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, Kentridge saw an underclassman step up: Simone Brown scored 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Brown scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Andrea Pop, who scored four points.
Notre Dame Prep pushed their record up to 11-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points per game. As for Kentridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.
Notre Dame Prep will square off against Sunnyslope at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Sunnyslope is ranked 24th, while Notre Dame Prep is ranked 23rd). Kentridge won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against North Eugene at 10:00 a.m. on December 30th.
