There's no place like home for Plainfield North, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Minooka Indians on Thursday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Plainfield North had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-10, 25-23.

Aarush Singh paced Plainfield North's offense, picking up ten kills. Singh got some help from Joey cavlovic and his 28 assists. Easton Isaacson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Plainfield North's win bumped their record up to 16-19. As for Minooka, they now have a losing record of 17-18.

Plainfield North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Naperville North on the 26th. As for Minooka, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Glenbard South on the 24th.
