Jenna Brumbaugh continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. Shannon Brumbaugh was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Brookville posted their closest win yet this season on Thursday. They had just enough and edged Eaton out 32-30.
Brookville can attribute much of their success to Hunter Gardner, who scored six points along with seven blocks and five rebounds, and Sara Carr, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Carr has scored all season.
Milton-Union has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. As for Brookville, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.
Tuesday's contest is shaping up to be a scrappy contest: Milton-Union have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 30.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Brookville struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 23.5 rebounds per game. Given Milton-Union's sizeable advantage in that area, Brookville will need to find a way to close that gap.
