The Bowsher BlueRacers pushed their score all the way to 58 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 63-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clyde. Bowsher was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Clyde apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2019.
Katie Shiets was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatum Jeffrey, who scored 12 points.
Bowsher's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Clyde, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bowsher will take on Lima Senior at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Clyde, they will be playing at home against St. Joseph Central Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
