The South Tahoe Vikings won the last time they faced the North Valleys Panthers, and things went their way on Saturday too. South Tahoe enjoyed a cozy 49-33 win over North Valleys. The win made it back-to-back wins for South Tahoe.
South Tahoe found their leader in underclassman Kai McClain, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jay Butterfuss, who scored nine points.
South Tahoe's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for North Valleys, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
South Tahoe will stay at home for another game and welcome Hug at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Hug is ranked 46th in Nevada, while South Tahoe is ranked 65th in California). As for North Valleys, they will head out on the road to face off against Sparks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
