The Cedaredge Bruins scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They strolled past Olathe with points to spare, taking the game 80-65. With that win, Cedaredge brought their scoring average up to 51.1 points per game.
Cedaredge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jacob Bowler, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bowler has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Maxey, who scored 24 points along with five assists and two steals.
Cedaredge's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Olathe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedaredge will take on Grand Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Olathe, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Roaring Fork at 7:00 p.m.
