The Campolindo Cougars won the last time they faced the Acalanes Dons, and things went their way on Friday too. Campolindo slipped by Acalanes 25-24. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Campolindo.
Campolindo found their leader in underclassman Micah Parker, who rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown.
Campolindo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season. As for Acalanes, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Campolindo will head out on the road to face off against San Ramon Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Ramon Valley is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Acalanes, they will be playing at home against Mt. Diablo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Diablo will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 679th, while Acalanes is ranked 128th).
