Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kylie Hammer and Danica Lindemann Lead Shadow Ridge to Victory

There's no place like home for Shadow Ridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They strolled past the Boulder Creek Jaguars with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 56-37. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Stallions also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Shadow Ridge was led to victory by Danica Lindemann and Kylie Hammer. Lindemann went 11 for 15 on her way to 24 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals, while Hammer dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten assists. Those ten assists gave Hammer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Riley Faulconbridge, who posted five points in addition to seven boards and five steals.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Shadow Ridge was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Shadow Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Boulder Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shadow Ridge will venture away from home to challenge Tolleson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boulder Creek, they will head out to square off against Apollo at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boulder Creek is facing Apollo at the right time seeing as Apollo is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
