Analysis: The fact that everyone outside of Louisville has already penciled this game in as a victory for Trinity is certainly alarming to Shamrock fans, who know that anytime their team lines up against St. Xavier, all bets are off. Trinity blasted the Tigers 48-0 in their regular season meeting, but don't write off the defending state-champion Tigers. They lost 43-13 to Trinity in last year's regular season meeting, but avenged it with 34-10 win in the title game. St. Xavier will certainly have a chance, particularly if its running game, led by senior speedster
La'Mont McMurry, can help sustain long drives.
Trinity hopes to celebrate again with another victory over St. Xavier.
