Hunt came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the South Johnston Trojans a 9-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Hunt, who have now won 11 games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting South Johnston from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Natalie Capps led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Hunt pushed their record up to 13-2-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 47 goals over those six contests. As for South Johnston, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-1.
