South Central is on a three-game streak of home wins, while D.H. Conley is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Falcons will host the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (South Central 3.2, D.H. Conley 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
South Central is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of North Carolina's top teams: J.H. Rose, who was ranked 17th at the time (South Central was ranked 13th). The Falcons came out on top against the Rampants by a score of 4-1 on Thursday. The game was the first time the Falcons have beaten the Rampants on their field since May 20, 2022.

Chase White tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Colby Jones, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and four RBI.
Meanwhile, D.H. Conley got the win against New Hanover on Friday by a conclusive 11-2. Considering the Vikings have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
D.H. Conley gave Caleb Case the start and clearly made the right call: he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Case has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, D.H. Conley let Ethan Stewart and Rooke Knittle run wild. Stewart went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Knittle got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Layton, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
D.H. Conley's victory bumped their record up to 18-1. As for South Central, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. South Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .336. However, it's not like D.H. Conley struggles in that department as they've averaged .313. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
South Central might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from D.H. Conley in their previous matchup back in March. Will the Falcons have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
