Last Tuesday, Christian Fellowship made easy work of Sacred Heart and carried off a 42-19 victory. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 26-4.
Christian Fellowship relied on the efforts of Brooke Grathwohl, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds, and Ariya Barton, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds and 7 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Grathwohl has scored at least 25% of Christian Fellowship's points. Emma Kate Bradley was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Lighthouse Prep Academy had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of Liberty Christian Academy by a score of 35-32. Lighthouse Prep Academy has struggled against Liberty Christian Academy recently, as their game last Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Christian Fellowship now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lighthouse Prep Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Everything came up roses for Christian Fellowship against Lighthouse Prep Academy when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 45-15 victory.
