The North Harrison Cougars lost against the Seymour Owls back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. North Harrison took a 64-48 bruising from Seymour. North Harrison has struggled against Seymour recently, as their match on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, North Harrison still got an impressive performance from Grace Goldman, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Goldman set a new season high mark in steals with four. Another player making a difference was Meg Marinc, who scored nine points.
North Harrison struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
North Harrison has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Seymour, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-8.
