If Big Piney hoped to take revenge for the 65-48 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Rich was led to victory by Ridge Lundgren and Jaden Desch. Lundgren scored 18 points along with two steals, while Desch dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Drake Weston was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with four steals.
Big Piney has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Rich, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.
Big Piney will take on Farson-Eden at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rich, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Manila at 7:00 p.m. on January 27th.
