Manawa is 2-7 against Bonduel since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Wolves will venture away from home to take on the Bears at 4:30 p.m.
On Monday, Manawa came up short against Tigerton and fell 9-5.
Brody Rosin put in work while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Rosin was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Porter Gehrke was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Bonduel came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Eagles. With that victory, the Bears brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Like Manawa, Bonduel also got a great game from a two-way player: Carter Beilfuss. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. Beilfuss has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and four runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Joe Felhofer, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Jackson Rudzinski also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Bonduel's record is now 7-1. As for Manawa, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
Manawa suffered a grim 15-2 defeat to Bonduel in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
