Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Winston Salem Christian National). They were the clear victors by a 92-69 margin over The Burlington School Spartans on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won three in a row.

Winston Salem Christian National got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Josiah Johnson Freeman out in front who posted 20 points. With that strong performance, Johnson Freeman is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. Another player making a difference was Kenyon St.Louis, who had 18 points.

The Burlington School's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drew Johnson, who shot 53% from the field en route to 28 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Karon Watlington, who scored 13 points in addition to eight assists and seven boards.

Winston Salem Christian National's record is now 9-1. As for The Burlington School, they moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
