Spring Hill took a serious blow against Shelbyville Central on Tuesday, falling 75-41. Spring Hill has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kyler Trice was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with five rebounds and two steals for Shelbyville Central. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Trice has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tae'shawn Shelton, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Spring Hill's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Shelbyville Central, their victory bumped their record up to 6-20.
Spring Hill will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Coffee County Central at 7:30 p.m. Coffee County Central will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Spring Hill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Shelbyville Central, they and Columbia Central will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Shelbyville Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 290th, while Columbia Central is ranked 105th).
