The Carlton Bulldogs fell to the Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida Ogichida 80-53 when the two teams previously met in February of last year; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Carlton strolled past Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida with points to spare this past Friday, taking the contest 94-80.
The Bulldogs' win brought them up to 11-10. Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida's defeat pushed them down to an identical 11-10.
The Bulldogs will square off against North Woods Monday. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Carlton, but that can only make success all the sweeter. Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida is staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Nashwauk-Keewatin. Keep an eye on the score for this one: Nashwauk-Keewatin also posted a lofty point total in their previous matchup, a 76-52 victory over Cook County.
