While Gate City's victory against Ridgeview wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Devils had just enough and edged out the Wolfpack 6-5. The win was some much needed relief for the Blue Devils as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Gate City's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-11. As for Ridgeview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
