Westmont entered their tilt with Ida Crown Jewish Academy on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They never let the Aces get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Sentinels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Briggs Templeton was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Ricky Yenkin, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Westmont was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in four consecutive games.

Westmont's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-8-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Ida Crown Jewish Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
