The Holy Cross Regional Gaels have the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome the Carlisle Chiefs on Thursday. Holy Cross Regional has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
The Gaels simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday, as they easily beat Fuqua at home 63-9. That looming 54-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Holy Cross Regional yet this season.
Meanwhile, Carlisle was just a three-ball short of a victory on Tuesday and fell 46-44 to New Covenant.
Holy Cross Regional ended up a good deal behind Carlisle when they played when the two teams previously met in February of last year, losing 52-35. Maybe Holy Cross Regional will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back on MaxPreps for all the details.
