With a playoff win on the line, Olathe West rose to the challenge on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Shawnee Mission South Raiders as they made off with a 45-24 victory. The Owls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Olathe West is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.5 points. Shawnee Mission South's loss dropped their record down to 14-6.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Olathe West Owls face off against Heights Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
