The Valley Vikings suffered their biggest  loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Resurrection Christian, falling  70-23. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Valley in their matchups with Resurrection Christian: they've now lost nine in a row.
 Valley got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of 
 Nevaeh Jimenez and 
 Peyton Savolt, who each put up eight points.  Jimenez also led the team in rebounds with ten. 
 Leading Resurrection Christian to victory were  Mackenzie Flikkema and  Olivia Klein.  Flikkema  scored 20 points along with eight  rebounds, while  Klein  scored 25 points along with seven  steals. Flikkema continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Bethany Vrooman, who  scored seven points along with five  steals.
 Valley has  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost five of their last six matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Resurrection Christian, their win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-3.
 Valley will take on Berthoud at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Hopefully Berthoud focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday. As for Resurrection Christian, they will head out on the road to  take on  Eaton at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Eaton is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last five games.
