It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Crossroads Christian had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 64-22 victory over Albemarle School. Crossroads Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Crossroads Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elyssa Phillips, who went 9-for-17 en route to 22 points along with seven steals and six assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Phillips has scored at least a third of Crossroads Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Leanna Wimsatt, who posted 17 points and six steals.

Phillips wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Crossroads Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Crossroads Christian pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Albemarle School, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Coming up, Crossroads Christian will venture away from home to take on Lawrence Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lawrence Academy will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Crossroads Christian surely won't give up without a fight. Albemarle School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
