This season hasn't been kind to the Tenoroc Titans, who are still winless after their seventh matchup. They were dealt a 71-42 defeat at the hands of Fort Meade on Monday. While losing is never fun, Tenoroc can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 750th, while Fort Meade is ranked 282nd).
Ryan Screen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Fort Meade, scoring 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Screen also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Nasier Berrien was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Tenoroc's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Fort Meade, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Tenoroc will be playing at home against Davenport at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Meade, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake Region at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Region has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 281 points over their last four games.
