It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Comanche Indians had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 41-21 margin over Scurry-Rosser. Winning may never get old, but Comanche sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Scurry-Rosser's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being De'shawn Wren, who gained 95 total yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayden Bradshaw, who rushed for 102 yards.
Comanche's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.67 points. As for Scurry-Rosser, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-1.
Comanche is on the road again on Friday and play against Gunter. Gunter has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 745 points over their last 12 contests. Scurry-Rosser does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
