Wilson extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Josh Leonard. The Tigers came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 60-54 W against the Broughton Capitals with plenty of help from Leonard, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Wilson's points.

When it comes to explaining why Broughton lost on Friday, don't look at Jordan Page. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards. Page is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in each of the last 11 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Hudson Fitzgerald, who posted five points.

Wilson's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Broughton, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-5.

Wilson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-60 defeat against Coronado on the 29th. As for Broughton, they have also already played their next game, a 61-54 victory against Garner on the 27th.
