Splendora had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Cleveland Indians, posting a 54-6 win. The Wildcats not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 30, 2024 (when they won 70-10).
Splendora's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brayden Hinton, who threw for 167 yards and three TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also punched in a pair of scores on the ground. What's more, Hinton racked up 166.7 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August of 2024. Aiden Washington also helped with two touchdowns in total.
