The Granville Blue Aces entered their tilt with the Fredericktown Freddies with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Granville simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Fredericktown 70-29 on the road. Given Granville's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Fredericktown is ranked 137th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Granville's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Fredericktown, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Granville will take on Zanesville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Zanesville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday. As for Fredericktown, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Cardington-Lincoln at 6:00 p.m.
