York-Adams II recap Sept. 26, 2012
West York Area's Anthony Trone recorded the longest rushing play in York-Adams II this season in his game against Red Lion last week. Trone's team bested the Lions as he sprinted for 82 yards on the play and finished with 100 in all.
West York Area extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Red Lion, 44-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for Ronald Miller's team.
The Bulldogs' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brandon Kinneman threw for 104 and two touchdowns and Zach Smith had 102 yards receiving. On the ground Brock Snellbaker chipped in 180 yards. Snellbaker helped West York Area's passing attack out by catching one ball for two yards.
West York Area's Kinneman and Smith have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Kinneman has thrown for 366 yards this season, while Smith, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 18 catches for 288 yards. Northeastern's Daniel Adams leads the league in rushing yards with 562.
The Bulldogs led York-Adams II in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on Pat Conrad's team. Kinneman ran for 15 yards in the win.
