They managed a 53-49 win over Greater Atlanta Christian on Tuesday. This was payback for Centennial, who suffered a 65-52 loss the last time these two teams met.
Centennial had a senior duo take command as Diamond Leslie scored 25 points and Jasmine Perez scored 23 points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Leslie has scored at least 25% of Centennial's points.
Centennial's win bumped their record up to 2-10. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Centennial will head out on the road to face off against Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northview will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, they will be playing at home against Cambridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cambridge is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
