Leading Spring Creek to victory were Tayden Francis and Darren Bylund. Francis scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Bylund scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. The match was Bylund's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Jaron Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds.
Spring Creek's win bumped their record up to 8-1-1. As for Wooster, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
Spring Creek will be home for the holidays to greet Sparks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sparks will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nevada Rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Spring Creek is ranked 18th). As for Wooster, they will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Manogue at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Manogue is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
