Cactus is 0-4 against Estrella Foothills since April of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The Cobras will host the Wolves at 3:45 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Cactus' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Westview. The Cobras haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
William Wagner tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Phoenix Huisinga was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Gavin Carlson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Estrella Foothills). They blew past Agua Fria 26-0 on Thursday. Considering the Wolves have won nine contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Landon Sloan made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Sloan was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and one double while going 3-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Estrella Foothills' success: when he posts at least three RBI the team is undefeated (and 8-10 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Devin Kriley was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. He has become a key player for Estrella Foothills: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 7-10 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayson Ross, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
